GOD Never Changes

GOD never changes.

Just a simple statement that many agree is quite true. We humans, on the other hand, are constantly changing. Because we change so frequently, at times, we find it hard to understand GOD doesn’t change. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. 

When we lived in Colorado Springs I always knew that no matter where I was I could find my way home. There was a security in that. The reason I could be so sure is because I knew Pikes Peak, a mountain over 14,000 feet, would always be in the west. I was always moving and changing direction but I knew that mountain wasn’t going anywhere and because of it’s size it was always visible. GOD is like that– big and He never moves. Any time we sense we are going in the wrong direction, all we have to do is repent (change direction back to GOD). He will always be right there waiting and welcoming us!
