Most would say GOD can be trusted. We think, of course he can be trusted, He’s GOD. Yet, at times, we all find ourselves in that place of uncertainty. When we trust GOD’s love we don’t have to give in to fear. Fear causes us to try to control— and that causes a mess (in the long run, it may appear to help at the time). When we trust God’s love we are able to let go and rest secure. The more we trust GOD’s love for us the more deeply we love others. It is in this place we will be at rest and not easily offended.
Father, help us to see where we are not trusting and secure in Your love. Your perfect love casts out all fear!
