More Valuable

Have you ever heard of Olive Christian perfume? Have you ever smelled any? Do you know that Olive Christian’s Imperial Majesty cost $12,722 per ounce? This is due to the fact that most expensive perfumes contain rare ingredients. For example Joy by Jean Paton cost $850 an ounce. To make one ounce takes 28 dozen roses and 10,600 jasmine flowers. 8,000 jasmine flowers yield only 1/25 of an ounce of oil. Only fifty bottles of Joy are made each year. This perfume promises to get rid of depression and cause the wearer to feel lively and joyful.

You probably won’t find samples of these perfumes at Belks or Dillards, because the value is too high. At those stores you will fine samples for less costly perfumes, usually valued at $200 or less.

So, why all this talk about expensive perfumes? Because you are of more worth and value than even the most expensive perfume. You were bought with a price. Therefore God saw and sees you as very valuable. Jesus left a perfect place to come to earth to redeem you. He paid a high price because He saw your worth.

No matter how you may have been treated or abused, no matter what you’ve done you are still valuable. You value is not determined by how you feel but by the price Jesus paid for you; He gave His very life so that you could really live.

Samples are free they don’t cost anything but if you want the whole bottle there is a price. Women, don’t give samples when God Himself has declared your worth! Don’t let a man declare different! Only God has authority to declare your worth because He died for you, He created you therefore He determines your worth.

Selah!
