“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
This is a wonderful promise nestled within the pages of scripture. We can rest secure in the truth that God will keep His promises! There is a needed key to unlock what God will do because this verse begins with “IF”. But, when the key is used it will unlock what is promised.
There doesn’t seem to be a shortage of people who believe we are in need of God’s help and Divine intervention to heal our land. At the time of this writing (5/4/2020) there are many meeting to pray and seek God to bring His kingdom to earth.
Notice in this verse that the healing of the land is not dependent on everyone but only God’s people— Christians, Believers. Those of us in this group God say He wants us to humble ourselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from our wicked ways. When we do those four things THEN He will hear us, forgive us, and heal our land. He has promised and He will do it!
